Loading data from DSO in BW to DSO in APO BW

Hello there,

I was wondering if someone can help me with the steps in importing data from a DSO in BW to another system (APO BW).

Can you please provide the steps so I know if I am going in the right direction. Appreciate your help!

can you not set up a Datamart between the 2 BW systems via a standard RFC connection?

Here is what I am trying to do.

1) Export DSO as a data source in BW system

2) Replicate the data source in APO BW system

3) Add an Info Package to load data into that source.

Is this the right approach? If not can you please provide the high level steps. This is the first time I am dealing with this type of import and I want to make sure it is done correctly.

Hi Divya,

I believe this will work, please test it, assign the correct authorizations in both the BW systems, where the 'source is OLTP' and the 'target is BW' as per the following note....

150315 - BW-Authorizations for Remote-User in BW and OLTP

The dataflow looks good and should be easy enough to troubleshoot, you seem to know what you are doing 🙂
