CompositeProvider on MultiProviders in SAP BW 7.4 SP 9 on HANA

Hi folks,

we're on SAP 7.4 SP9 on HANA with Eclipse based BW Modelling Tools 1.6.1.

For a Migration Concept we're wondering if it will be possible to create CompositeProviders (CP) on MutliProviders (MP)

in the future? Currently MP are not populated when creating a CP.

(In earlier SPs it was at least possible to generate a CP by reference to a MP in RSLIMOBW).

Additionally we're facing an issue with advanced DSOs:

It's not possible to select any InfoObjects for ADSO creation, althoug it MUST bepossible.

Please advice, any help is welcome, Points will be granted.

Hi Sven,

regarding your second issue "It's not possible to select any InfoObjects for ADSO creation" you need to implement note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2115492. This is an issue with the backend related search that is fixed note 215492.

Hello,

You can't add MP to CP (we are on BW SP 7.4 SP10 and BW Modeling Tools 1.8) and I don't think that it will be available in the future as MP won't be used anymore and is replaced by CP.
