Unable to find users using search :: Data Source is LDAP - GRC 10.1

Hi ,

We have configured the LDAP connection as per the document "AC10_LDAP_Config_Guide" - Note 1584110

• RFC connection test is successful
• Successfully able to login to AD server using transaction LDAP & see the sample user details. (Logged in with System User)
• Configured LDAP connector as data source for Search & Detail.

But when we try to search the user from Access request , no results are displayed.

SLG1 logs shows the error as attached.

Please suggest if I am missing any configuration

Hello Pavan,

please make sure you have maintained Base entry in LDAP configuration and SPRO setting (Domain and user path)

HI Pavan,

     This looks like connection Problem, check with your Basis team if the LDAP Server is available or is it down. Also check the RFC again and do authorization test in RFC to check if the user ID has enough authorizations to read data from LDAP.

Hi Deepak,

I went through the note 1978357 . Everything is configured correctly.

Also executed LDAP_SYSTEMBIND & LDAP_COMMONBIND and got return code 0 for LDAPRC

Regarding the authorizations, which user should have these ??
