Installing and Configuring

Hello,

I am installing a type 2 JDBC driver. My server is running on windows 2000 and XI is running on unix. Now since this is a type 2 driver I have to configure a native library thats from windows on the XI server.

Will the XI server running on unix be able to accomodate the windows DLL? Is it possible? Or is there any other alternative?

Hi SriHari,

the type 2 driver is platform specific so you will require the Unix version if XI is installed on a Unix platform.

Hello Scott,

I have configured my SDA based on the note, my only query is if XI supports a windows 2000 DLL although its running on UNIX which I have given in the OS_libs folder in SDA.
