Unable to progress RfC beyond certain status

Hi,

We work with Solution Manager 7.1 SP10 and encounter the following issue.

We configured things thus that when all change records related to an RfC are in the status 'Realization - Assigned' (or beyond) that the related RfC is set to the status 'Realization - Assigned' as well. Sometimes, when this mechanism does not work, we do the action 'Recheck request for change' and then it is done. Now this is not working either and we are not able to progress the RfC any further.

What we did try was to reset the RfC's status with the program 'CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT', by setting it to 'In Processing Again' and by 'Set Next Status Value'.And then progress it again to the relevant status, but without any luck.

The entry in the RfC is as follows:

Log type = Executed Actions

Log Action = Approves the Follow-On Transactions

New Value = Incorrect

Processing APPROVE_SYSTEMS Is Started

Action could not be successfully executed

None of the related change records has an error.

We checked the Action (in our case called Z2CR_APPROVED_SYSTEMS) and Condition definitions and compared them to the standard, but found nothing unusual.

Hello,

Do you have any checks in AIC_SETTINGS for the status involved? Any additional checks for the SET_PREDOC? Perhaps someone added a 'PREDOC_CAN_BE_SET' check

I assume that you do this using a form of SET_PREDOC, asides from the PPF actions for individual document status changes.
