Plant/Sloc not being updated in handling unit

Hello Experts,

We have created a delivery and picking is completed and we have a custom program which does automatic packing and generate a handling unit. When handling unit is generated the plant/sloc fields in status tab are not being populated. Do we need to incorportate the FM V51S_HU_UPDATE_DB to this custom program or else any other way to get these fields populated. With out these fields out put determination for the handling units will not work.

Hi, 
Packing HU managed and non HU managed items into one HU is not allowed as it causes inconsistencies. There were notes 1152248 and 1019342 written to prevent this kind of packing.

We always assumed that this kind of packing happened as an error.
