Hi,
we would like to upgrade our system on versions we had access to while we were on SAP support. We did downloaded the software but didn´t perform the upgrade yet. To successfully perform the upgrade we need to generate the stack.xml file and create a connection to SAP OSS. We did try to create the connection but we failed. We generated certificate request but then an empty field appears and there is no error message. Could you please help me find out where the problem is?
I attach registration screenshots.
Thank you very much!
Regards, Tomas
Hi Tomas,
We generated certificate request but then an empty field appears and there is no error message
.Could you share what exactly the issue you're facing now.If you're finding issue during router configuration, then could refer SCN doc at http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c06c8846-c160-2d10-d18e-d9961e9c7...

Hi Gaurav,
thank you for the link! As for the document, we proceeded to the page for - we did generate a certificate request ( as you can see in the attached docs) with the sapgense command but then nothing happens. We don´t receive any feedback. Any idea where the problem is?
Thank you
Regards, Tomas

Please brief how did you try to create the OSS connection .

Hi Manu,
we used to have an SAP Router with valid certificate, nevertheless the certificate expired and because we are not on the SAP support any more we didn´t renew it. In the meanwhile we migrated the SAP router from IBM AIX to Debian. We had the SAP Router for Debian so there was no problem to make it work but we didn´t use it for communication with SAP so we didn´t ask for the certificate. (We use it only for support from our subcontractor and not for SAP OSS - we don´t have SAP support).
Now we would like to perform some upgrades but for that we need to generate the stack.xml file and create a connection to SAP OSS. Now we have the SAP Router but we don´t have the certificate and without it we are not able to reach the SAP OSS. So we generated a certificate request ( as you can see in the attached docs) with the sapgense command. So far we didn´t receive any answer.
Any idea how to proceed?
Thank you very much
Regards, Tomas
