Multiple Attachments in Project Master via UDT & UDO

Hi,

I have created a UDT for Attachments for Project Master, with fields like Document Type, File Path, etc.

I have registered the UDO for this table.

Now how do I link it to Project Master, so that I can open the UDT form from the Project Master?

The requirement is to have multiple attachments per project.

I tried to create a UDF in Project Master with Type: Alphanumeric, Validation: Linked to Entities, and Link to UDO.

This UDF shows as a normal UDF in Project Master, so what is the use of Linked to Entities.

I am doing this for the 1st time, so a step by step guide will be helpful.

Hi Manish,

If I use Set Linked Table, then in Project Master UDF field, it will just show a dropdown of the values from the Linked Table.

I want to open the linked table's form from the Project Master row, so that the user can attach multiple documents for the same Project row.

in that case you need to register a UDO and then link that UDO to your udf .

then on clicking on udf in project master you will find a option for Create new.

Thats what I already mentioned in my original question that I have already created a UDO and linked that UDO to UDF in Project Master using "Link to UDO".

But when I click on the UDF in Project Master, the new window does not open and I dont find any option for Create New.

ok , what is the type of your udo i.e. document type or master type????

UDO Type is Master Data.

If I need to create differently, please guide me.

i just cheked it is not working on Project master , you need to wait for correct answer.
