i think inputfield has onenter action, you can write your code there to do the auto conversion.

What data you are going to convert to the decimal type.
is it numeric or string data?

It is type numberic
Use onChange event of the editor of your table cell. There you can do the manipulation you want.
Or where exactly is your problem?

This is the interface Web DYNPRO I understand it does not support the scrip to manipulate the cells must!
why you need script to do that? wed dynpro java can do that job
