Hi,
We are upgrading SRM EHP version from 7.01 to 7.03 (.01 to .03) only.
So could you please provide what are the ACTIVITIES and TESTING are needs to be performed before and after upgrade process from the FUNCTIONAL prospects.Please provide the mandatory activity and testing also

kinldy find the below sample plan for BASIS side there might be many steps to follow

sample BASIS side preparation
1) Raise necessary the Request for Space, RAM, Cpu
2) Free space requirements for filesystm and tmp directoires
3) Disabling of the AUTOMATIC transports if avaliable
4) Generate Stack XML file
5) Preparation of the MEDIA
6) Check and verify patches
7) Check whether the SUM tool ports are opened on the servers (if not open them)
😎 Check require password for Oracal and SAP(SIDADM, DDIC, SYSTEM and SYS)
9) check the database to apply any patches if required
10) Release all Open requests.
11) Set parameter service..etc
12) Start Online FULL Backup
13 confirm the successful backup before start of Upgrade Preparation
14 Check ownership of /usr/sap/<SID> and /sapmnt/<SID>, shld be with sidadm user.
Functional related test
1) You need to check with SRM team to prepare like shoping card , po.. etc...
2) IDOC,TRFC smq1 and smq2...
3) Connection between ECC to SRM and third party system should work before like that..
4) we need to check all the RFC connection and SSO
Note : Better check with SRM team to get more function test based on your business.

Determine end-to-end test scenarios regarding to the processes, which will be controlled by your SRM system.

The funtionality that added in the 7.02 are list below,
These of additional functionality compared to 7.01, manily this can be activated thr' Business function and Switch.
Functionality added in 7.03 are,
1. purchase order header condition
2. Harmonized substitution
3. Mandatory field
4. Automatic Enlargement of Longtext Boxes
5. Workload Distribution in SOCO Screen in Step1.
