How to activate "OpenText Document Access"

Hi,

In ME42/43 "OpenText Document Access" is greyed out, but in J6NY I can select the Purch.Ord.number and I find Documents there:

How can I activate "OpenText Document Access"?

In ME21/22 we can use it and then get directly into the DocuLink Archive for that order.

Hi Alexander,

I think global object services (GOS) are not activated in DocuLink customizing.

You will find this in transaction J6NP, displaying a version of a project and choosing menu Extras->GOS.

You will need to have a project/view for SAP object type BUS2010 (request for quotation) for activating it in transaction ME43.

ME23N uses SAP object type BUS2012; so you will probably cannot use the existing view of the purchase orders.

Thank you for the detailed information.

We have views for LFA1, BUS2012, BUS2013 there, but not for BUS2010. I will try to create such a view now.

Adding an entry for BUS2010 activated the "OpenText Document Access" in ME42 and ME43.

Adding BUS2011 activated the "OpenText Document Access" in ME47.

Can you please tell me how to find this (BUS)value for any transaction?

Hi Alex,

to get the business object type of a transaction, open the GOS menu and choose "Workflow->Archived workflows"; in the selection screen you will find the actual business object type.

Benedikt
