special procurement key (SPK) from R3 to APO and transportation lane creation

I have maintain special procurement key in ECC material master. It should create T-lane in APO when being transferred to APO. but it is not creating tlane in APO

In MRP 2 tab i have maintained Procurement type as F and Special procurement U, also still not able to create Tlane in APO after CIF, is thier any extra setting Req.

The issue has been resolved, using  below mentioned notes:

1891284 - Material with special procurement key no TL created

1069687 - System does not create transportation lane

I have created SPK with two digit in ecc and assigned to material still not able to create tlane after ciffing.

Yes, product location are their in APO. i did initial transfer also but not able to create tlane.

I ciffed both location and then location product to APO.

Hello,

Please go in the CIF application Log (t.code SLG1) and select  as Object CIFSCM and display only the important logs.

Execute for today date and see the error messages. In the message you should have the explanation of the issue.

Hi,

I think that you have to create a special procurement key with two digits. Then you have to check if the locations and the products are in APO. If the tr.lanes is created (after initial integration model CIF transfer) you have to create manually the means of transport at tr.lanes level.

You can use PIR if you want to create tr.lanes between vendors and plant.

No I have not maintained PIR for them.

just to clear my doubt, do we need to maintain PIR to create tlane using SPK.

I was under impression, these are two different things.

If I have to create PIR then why should we go and do extra work of maintaining SPK, instead we can directly transfer PIR to apo and Tlane get created.

Hi SAP APO,

You don't necessary need a PIR to automate the creation of the t-lane. This is explained in the SAP help:

Automatic Creation of Transportation Lanes - Master Data - SAP Library

Ensure you have the plants and the material in APO. Also check if you have the imodel.

Have you maintained Purchase Info Records (PIRs), and CIFed them to APO for the creation of Tlanes?
