SQVI - Fields' Value descriptions

Dear Experts,

I would like your help on the following issue. I am using SAP ECC 6.0

I have created a simple query through the Quick Viewer (Transaction SQVI) using the table MARA. My question is that I want to display the value descriptions of the field ISH_BILMOD (i.e."Material is billed for using single material service") and not the value range (0,1,2,3).

I tried to insert in SQVI the table DD07D that has the value descriptions, but a message appears that I cannot use the specific table.

I would like your help on how to display fields' value descriptions that are not defined in specific tables, such as the item description that appears in MAKT table.

For example another field such as Units of Measure (Field MEINS in the "Purchasing Tab"), I would like the description Pieces and not PC.

OK,

As far as text fields are concerned, SQVI is not that convenient. Instead you opt for Infoset query. Here Fields are available with their associated Descriptions. See this post.
