How to change the PI Port in Inbound Idocs

Former Member

Hi,

We have File to Idoc scenario. When the Idocs are getting posted to ECC it shows the PI port(SAPXQ3) in WE02.  Is there a way to change PI port to reflect the third party system (XXXXX). We tried to edit the SNDPOR (SAP XQ3) in the EDI_DC40 segment but it does not work. Please see the attached highlighted.

?

Regards,

Sudhir M

Hi,

what value are you seeing in sxmb_moni?

in the IdocOutbound, are you able to see given value under response ?

also re check in mapping if you have given correct value SAPXQ3 not (SAP XQ3)

Can you elaborate why you want to change the sender port value? How do you use it in your receiving system? Your sender partner number (KU/AG/xxxx) already represents the third party from a logical perspective. The sender port is just a technical attribute.

Did you also select the checkbox to apply control record from payload under receiver communication channel ?
