Download the patches,software from service.sap.com

Hello Gurus

Can anybody tell me the new process for the downloading the patches, software , etc etc

I know that via solution manager we are able to download the files but what is the correct process, did we run any t-codes for the same

please rectify my problem

You want to download from solution manager means first you need to configure systems in solution manager using Tcode SMSY.

After configration we need to configre maintanace optimizer.Through this one we can download the patches.

after you logon to market place you see on left hand side all products installed for your organization, whenever you click the llinks it will show the list of patches which are required for your organization.

Search for Support Packages and Patches

Entry by Application Group

My Company's Application Components

Archive for Support Packages and Patches

Search for Support Packages and Patches in the Archive

Database Patches (from other vendors)

SAP Cryptographic Software

Upgrade Guides

SAP Connectors etc etc.

But this requires authentication.
