Me working in PI Dual stack. I have ECC too.
PI version is 7.40
Should I create TS and BS manually?
In 7.40 single stack TS is created automatically for PI and for ECC from a transaction. How should I go about this here?

business system you have to create it manually.
that link for ECC system. I am asking for PI system TS and BS
for PI system you have to create two technical systems.
one for java and one for abap.
while creating business system make sure you chose role as integration server.
Are you sure about this? In PI 7.1 dual stack, I have created onnly one technical system for PI, both for ABAP and Java stack
you are correct. it will be one.
can you explain why do you want to create TS and BS for PI? do you want to create this as part of post installation?
is your system newly installed one?
TS and BS will be created by basis team for PI during post installation. the type will be ABAP.
