Delivery - Container Receipt Date after Invoice Creation

Dear Gurus,

There is a requirement to capture the Container receipt Date of Customer in the Delivery Document. I have checked for the Proof of Delivery and it doesn't seem to fit the requirement as the same item category is used by other business process too.

Business doesn't want any additional transactions/nor Z-Fields to Capture the same. Is there any date field which will be modifiable at delivery document level after invoice creation to feed the Container receipt Date .

Kindly suggest.

hi

delivery header level at shipment tab BillOfLad. field you can use this the edit field after billing done also,

after creation of billing just go to VL02N and put the Container receipt Date at  BillOfLad field level.

Thanks for your suggestion .

The BillofLad field is indeed a text field and has no restriction to maintain it as a date format.

If the user mistakenly enters date as different format then it will not be much helpful.
