java Alert mail's not going to target recipient mail box

Hi Experts,

We are facing issue related to alert mails in our production system we are using SAP PI 7.30 , where we configured the alert consumer job and alert mail consumer job is running for every five minutes and we received the mail for failed interface up to last week suddenly the mails triggering is stooped  so we are unable to receiving the mails .

where as alert consumer job is running with out fail.

Please help us to trace the issue we don't have the basis team to trace the issue .

What are the steps need to taken for the  solve the issue.

Thanks for your replay.

Configuration part is ok. We received the mails up to last week but suddenly alert mails are not coming to our mail box's . We are not changed any thing in the alert configuration.

Please let us know your thought on the same.

What does the alert job log show?

Can you also verify if the alerts are being captured for that consumer through WS navigator.. refer to step3 under below blog to verify

If it displays the pending alerts, then cross check the java mail client service configuration in NWA.

Thanks for your promt reply .

I have verified the step 3 using ws navigator  whereas alert consumer is generating the  alert .

while checking the javasheduler we found two cases.

javashedular is running every five minutes  sometime return code 0 and some time -1 its showing in javashedular screen.

We found two cases in javashedular log .

case 1

0 alerts had been consumed and aggregated successfully.

case 2.

10 alerts had been consumed and aggregated successfully.

javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: 170.300.3.250, port: 25;

  nested exception is:

java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

We don't have basis support .

Please help us to analyze the issue root cause.

Error message clearly indicates that PI is unable to connect to your mail server.

Ensure that you have properly configured the email server in NWA. "Ping" mail server from PI server and see if it is reachable.
