BOM is not saving while creating - CS01

Dear All,

I am trying to create BOM using below configuration:

• Configure BOM item: Transaction code: CS01
• CS01 – Create
• Specify the BOM header item [ERLA item] and plant
• Specify usage as [5]  Sales and Distribution
• Maintain the sub – items
• Save and Exit

When I try to say save CS01, it wont display "records saved" nor it will popup error message. But instead it will exit to SAP Easy Access menu. When i check in CS02, i am getting error message "BOM not found for this material/Plant/Usage". I checked with ST22 also, i did not find any error message.

If you don't have authorization for CS02, in that case also, system would pop up this message.  Hence, have you checked in CS03?  If not, check whether you are able to see the assigned BOM components.  You can also check for other plant whether the system is giving the same issue for that plant also.

Please check if the ERLA material has been created properly.

Is the item category determinations in place..?
