Hi
Can you set the following environment variable when trying to install IQ?
1) make directory at the IQ home directory
Ex)
> mkdir /IQ_Home_Directory/IQTMP16
2) set this variable within env file such as .profile..
> .profile
...
export IQTMP16=/IQ_Home_Directory/IQTMP16
3) Try to re-install IQ.
And If it's same as before, Please let us know about it.

Hi
Is it same when using "setup.bin -i console" ??
And did you check the permission?
Thanks

Hi
I found some required package for Ubuntu.
Installation guidelines IQ 16 - SybaseWiki
[Required packages]
http://www.petersap.nl/SybaseWiki/index.php?title=Installation_guidelines_IQ_16
Based on Ubuntu Linux (unsupported but seems to work), you need to install these packages:
- apt-get install libaio1
- apt-get install csh
- apt-get install libxrender1
- apt-get install libxtst6
- apt-get install ia32-libs
Were these packages already applied ?
