working with a pushbutton in the the output for hierarchical ALV list display

Hello all,

I have developed an hierarchical alv where each record at the item level has a check box assigned to it. The check box should be ticked and a  pushbutton in the alv has to be clicked in order to do some data updation.  I am using FM "REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_DISPLAY".

My problem is upon clicking  the push button on ALV nothing happens. The user command is not getting triggered. Can you plz help me with some sample piece of code?

Any help is much appreciated.

The 'where used list' is a good place to start. Look at program BALVHD01 for instance.
