How To Trace Lumira Client Tool

Hello Team,

How to trace lumira client tool like the way we trace BO tools using BO_Trace.ini. I am looking not to trace data connectivity but the core tool trace like from where it takes JDBC jars for data connectivity , Where it looks for JVM while loading.

Thank You,

Amol

Hello Tammy,

this trace is talking about ,

  • This could be when Acquiring, Enriching, Visualizing or Sharing a dataset or visualization.

will this include the tool trace as well?

Thank You,

Hi Amol - I don't know as I haven't used it.  Maybe you could try it?

Hi,

it's not exactly clear what you're looking for.

in your first post, what you're asking for sounds more like Windows SysInternals utilities (processMonitor/ ProcessExplorer)   to determine folder accesses, registry reads and potential deadlocks etc.

the bo_trace.ini is best for capturing warnings & errors from the application

regards,

H

Hello Henry,

thnx for u r response. It seems that the Lumira is an Ecilipse implementation so I was looking to see if we can add a log4j entry to SAPLumira.ini file to trace the lumira tool.

Thank You,

Amol
