Hello,
I am currently setting up a Fiori environment.
My device connects from a 3g network to the webdispatcher in the DMZ.
The webdispatcher then routes to the Gateway server and returns the Fiori screens.
My issue is that when accessing Fiori through the webdispatcher the URL changes from the webdisatcher
hostname: https://<webdisp>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/Fiorilaunchpad.html to the gateway server
hostname: https://<gwserver>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/Fiorilaunchpad.html
This change is affecting my themes and also the device trying to connect from outside the network.
Does anyone know how this can be fixed?
Im just trying to get Fiori to use the webdisp hostname throughout and not switch to the gw hostname.
Regards
Jared
Hello
Could you please check this in order to re-define the routing rules to the target system? Specially, check point 3) in the "procedure" section.

Hi Joaquin,
Thanks for the reply.
Ive checked my settings and as far as I can see the routing rules are setup fine.
At what point would the URL change from using the webdispatcher to gw server?
Fiori is accessed on webdispatcher but when the login page is loaded the URL shows the gw address. Does this mean that the URL is changed in GW?
Regards
Jared
Hi Jared,
I have the same issue. I have notice, that the problem is related only to SAP Fiori Launchpad, because when I had tested WebDispatcher using http://<webDispatcherHostName>:<webDispatcherPort>/sap/bc/ping it worked fine, meaning that URL has correctly pointed to WebDispatcher hostname and port instead of Gateway Server.
However, when I try to open SAP Fiori Launchpad using Web Dispatcher (HTTP protocol) then a hostname and a port is changed to Gateway Server.
Unfortunately I haven't found a solution yet.
Best regards,
Tomasz
