SAP GUI 7.40 closes and theres nothing ...
not even error messege when I try to connect to a server.
I even reinstalled my windows 7 (clean) then installed sapgui 7.4
then tried and it did not work,
So, installed Patch level 1 and tried and did not work.
Then installed PL1 hotfox 1 and tried and did not work...
I am using Windows 7 64bit SP1.
Searched SCN and googled everywhere and did not solve my issue.
Can someone help me?

How do I access the attached note 1387962? When I click the link it takes me to the KPI catalog and roadmap viewer.
Do I need the "s" log-in username to access notes?

Hello Martina,
It's always advisable to rollout a small pilot number of users first to test the water.
32 and 64bit OS's should run equally well, 64bit more so because of the extra memory handling by a 64bit OS.
Patch 2 is expected to be released around the 20th March (patches have usually a 3month gap between releases).

There is a procedure for this which involves using the adplus debug software from Microsoft, which you need to download.
The complete process is outlined in the attached note:

You need to raise an incident for this in the servicemarketplace.
It would be very helpful if you have captured this adplus dump for us.
