Hi All,
I have a normal OR order, in which for a material i have activated free goods and maintain condition records in VBN3
for 8 PCE of a material - 1 PCE is free
So in line item below is the scneario
10 MaterialA 8 Pieces TAN
20 MaterialA 1 Piece TANN
Now at times it happens that higher level line item is not completly confirmed whereas child item is confirmed
which results in delivery of free item first than the payable item.
How to restrict it.
One workaround is to mark the complete delivery indicator or partial delivery settings.
But that will restrict and not provide deliveries of scenario where higher level item is partially confirmed and can be delivered.
Any ideas on how to implement this?

Hi Aayush,
In T.Code VBN1 while maintaining the condtion record for free goods, check the field Free goods delivery control in the last column. If it is blank delivery takes place regardless of the main item. Kindly check these options(B-Delivery only if main item is fully delivered)based on your requirement.

As Himavanth mentioned make use of free goods delivery control field in the free goods condition master record. OSS note 549963 - FAQ: Free goods in the SD document point 3- provides the same information.

Hi Aayush,
Have you tried using delivery group under shipping tab in sales order main screen.
The system uses delivery groups to check the availability of items that should be delivered together. The delivery date of the latest schedule line in the delivery group is taken as the general date for the whole group.
You can check, this should help you.
