New to SCN !! Basic Question on SAP ERP

Hi All, 

I am new to SAP field and new to SCN . I have a very basic doubt, how SAP really helps an organization in Real time ?  For e.g. O2C cycle, I completely understand the flow in it, but in real time how SAP helps the organization in terms of cost,time,or anything.

And also I would like to know about the Real time impact of Analytics on Businesses, taking any ERP into consideration.

I know this is a very basic silly question, but still please kindly provide me your views on it.

Hello Santhosh,

Please try google to search for relevant process for the modules you want to know in details.

Apart from that, I would suggest you to go through SAP's best business practice scenarios for Retail and non-retail industry which will give you an idea about the processes and their significant.
