MPC Class sysntax error-"BW Query Service"

Hi Experts,

Is there any limitations in Gateway for Data Model->Entity Type, wherein only a certain number of properties can be listed under one Entity Type.

We were trying out redefine "BW Query service" option in gateway for BW Query call , and one of the Entity Types(had more than 30 properties) created under this was creating syntax issue in MPC class as seen below;

However after selecting only a few, say 7-8, of those properties later, this was working fine.

Please share your thoughts on this.

Hi Yipin,

I would have a couple of questions:

1) Which version of SAP Gateway are you using ? SAP Gateway 2.0 SP ? or SAP NetWeaver 7.40 SP?

2) What are you trying to redefine? An easy query or an MDX query?

The version of SAP Gateway system used is:

     SAP Net Weaver 7.4 SPS05

     SAP Net Weaver Gateway 2.0 SPS08

We are trying to redefine a MDX Query, from a backend BW system.

where I refere to SAP Note 1942072 - SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0 Support Package Stack ?

SAP NetWeaver 7.4. SP5 corresponds to SAP Gateway 2.0 SP 7.

I would recommend the server to have at least the same SP level as the backend.

What is the backend (where you run SEGW) and what is the server ?
