Replicate Vendors from ECC to MDG

Dear Gurus,

We are using MDG application to create/change vendors.

We have few Vendor Master records which are available in ECC and are not available (i.e. BP's) in MDG.

Is there any possibility to transfer these Vendor Numbers from ECC to MDG with the same number as in ECC.

You can. However, you might have to switch the number assignment from internal to external (assuming your MDG system assigns numbers internally). Also, you will need to modify the number range accordingly.

How do I transfer? Is it manual creation in MDG by providing the number?

Is there any transaction/program to replicate it?

Yes, you can switch the number assignment for a short period. Remember, this whole temporary conversion does not need to do anything with MDG functionality. You can consider it a simple vendor record transfer that can be triggered from the source system by sending the CREMAS and ADRMAS IDOC's to the target system (being MDG in this case). For the BP, there are a whole bunch of BP IDOC's that I don't remember. I think they all start with BUPA.

Try MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT to transfer the vendors to MDG (If MDG is implemented on top of ECC).
