Messages with "Delivered" status are not deleted

Hello everyone!

We have PI 7.31 Single-Stack! Deleting job is scheduled to run once per day and retention period is set to the default value (1 day), but the messages with "Delivered" status are not being deleted from the database! Any ideas?

Hello Julio,

Once you start the job, it will delete the messages from that moment and it will not delete older messages.

It will be applicable to new messages; post your job config

My mistake guys! The "problem" is that I've configured additional staging and loggin and the default retention period for loggin is 7 days! So, the messages will appear at "Message Monitor" for at least 7 days (and not 1 day)!

What does the log shows?

http://host:port/mdt/MSArch -> select default delete job -> log

And are you just looking at the message count in pimon to confirm that delete job has no effect or you tried opening the message to validate it?
