Restrict Qty. in Sales order while copying from another order

Hi Experts,

We have a scenario where we manually create (VA01) a 'Return Sales order' with reference to a standard Sales order and most of the information from standard order gets copied over to return order. Now, we want to restrict the line item qty. in returns Order so that no one can put qty. in returns order more than the actual sales order line item qty. It could be equal or less than standard order qty but can not be more. I looked at Copy to Create function but could not find any restriction on item quantity. Could you please help?

Hi,

in MV45AFZZ you can use userexit_field_modification or userexit_move_field_to_vbap. Ask for the help of an abaper.

Thanks Joan. I will discuss this with ABAP guy. I was more keen to find any alternative from functional perspective, if that can be done.........
