Hi ,

I am getting error while implementing sap note.

Error during RFC connection to SAP, cannot update sap note.

Message no. SCWN421

Diagnosis

Before SAP Notes are implemented, the system checks whether they are the latest version or whether they have been changed by SAP since they were last downloaded.

System Response

The system was unable to check the SAP Notes since it could not create an RFC connection to SAP.

Procedure

If you still want to implement the SAP Notes, you may proceed to do so. If not, cancel the implementation.

Please help.

You could also apply correction from SAP Note manually by downloading the correction & by choosing Go To --> Upload SAP Note .( A workaround only ).Still i suggest to configure SAPOSS connections first to ignore workarounds.

Hi Sanket

The easiest way is to corerct the RFC destination . Check the following note

182308 - Incorrect logon data in R/3 destination SAPOSS

Try to use the user/id passord and not a trusted connection

2 ) You can download the corrections manually from SMP note - > download corrections

and upload using SNOTE for emergency purpose

Hi Sanket,

If SAPOSS connection is not working here,first try to maintain/configure SAPOSS connection from OSS1 as well as with use of SM59.

Is SAPOSS connection working fine on your system ? Could you test it from SM59.
