Get Floor stock Qty back after unscrap

Former Member

Hi,

An SFC (With floor stock "Qty on hand"=1) was scrapped wrongly.

After unscrap the inventory id had status "Quarantine". I changed this to "Available",

but the floor stock "Qty on hand" is 0 and I can not find a way to change this back to 1.

Can anybody help me with a guide on how it can be possible to change?

Best regards,

Johan

Btw, SAP ME Version is 6.0.4.31.

Hi Johan,

It seems to work as designed. You should use Maintain Floor Stock activity to set the Qty back.

P.S.: Unscrap has been working like that since ME 5.2 SP5 by design.

Hi Alex,

I have tried that, but the Qty on Hand field is not editable, so I can not change the Quantity.

Maybe I should add that the SFC was created as a "Trackable SFC" from the beginning.

Hi Johan,

For me it seems to be a bug that Maintain Floor Stock does not allow to change the Qty for unscrapped SFC.

I would suggest that you open a support incident against it.

Br, Alex.

Hi Johan!

Is ALLOW_UPDATE_QTY_ON_HAND activity rule set to YES for Maintain Floor Stock?

Hi Sergiy,

That rule is set to YES.

If so, then additional investigation is needed because I tried your scenario in ME 6.1.4 and it works differently. Or your scenario differs from my steps.

Hi Sergiy,

My scenario was (And I have replicated it in my test system)
1) Create trackable SFC for manufactured material and place it on a routing

2) Step through all operations in a routing to "Done" status.

3) Scrap the SFC.

4) Unscrap the SFC

5) With "Maintain floor stock" update status from Quarantine to Available.

In "Maintain floor stock" the quantity on hand is now 0 and not possible to update.

Best regards,

Johan
