Alert Not triggering to mail

Hi

I am working on SAP PI 7.1.We created Alertcategory in ALRTCATDEF under XI Classification. we given Container,short text and long text, fixed receipents. after that we did SCOT configuration also.

In RWB we created alert rules

ALERT RULE

Alertcatogry--Alert_mail

active rule and supress multiple alerts of this rule kept in CHECK Mode

Conditions

Connected to message     Not Relevant Yes No Sender Party Receiver Party Sender Component Receiver Component Sender Interface Receiver Interface Sender Namespace Receiver Namespace

Where did the error occur?

No restrictions

Do i need to do any further configurations

Hi Ram,

have you checked

Normally basis will configure a backgroud job to schedule automatically send the alert emails every 5-10 min. based on your req.

You can manually push if anything is stuck in SOST.

Hi,

Can you uncheck Suppress Multiple Alerts of this Rule" in alert rule?

and run report RSALERTPROC to confirm generated alerts.

now try to fail message and see if you get alerts.

you can also check report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER for logs.
