Hi Experts,
I have a few crystal reports which I export to excel data-only format and it works fine. But suddenly I have found that it is not exporting and gives "report failed to export" error message. what I have done new as , I have re installed my crystal software.
I have installed as 'run as administrator' and used 'custom' installation.
The reports are same , there is no change.
what could be the problem, kindly let me know if there is any solution for this.

Hi Suman,
Are you using B1? If yes, CR has a special version for B1. It can't be replaced by a regular CR.
Thanks,
Gordon

I used to have some problems with exporting crystal reports to excel
2 problems I pinpointed were
1) - Header data was reason for error
solution - suppress header in the layout and try again
2) - Text boxes were reason for error
solution - change text box to a formula box containing text as "text"
Perhaps it could be one of these reasons, or perhaps something else
Thanks
Vicky

Dear Nagarajan and all,
I am using SAP B1 8.82, PL: 01
Crystal report 2008
These reports were running fine and I could export to excel data-only format, without any issues. But after I re installed it is failed.
Have I missed out anything, I have installed as administrator and selected custom mode.
