CRM Web Client UI - Worklist (Saved Search)

Hi

We are on Solman 7.1 SP12 and I'm facing an issue with saving searches in CRM Web Client UI (Worklist page).

I have saved a search with the following in the worklist:

This works fine UNTIL I log off. When I close my browser and then open up CRM Web Client UI again, it displays as following:

So there is two issues. It keeps trying to put in a search criteria with "0001". Not sure why it does this????

Second issue is that the "Me" part of the search has disappeared???

Why are these two things happening and how do I resolve?

Hmmm actually, I don't think my Saved Searches are working at all.....

For example, I have saved this search as "Worklist":

I then change the search criteria to My Team (but I do NOT save this as a search):

I then click on "Go" next to my saved search which should change the search criteria from My Team back to Me:

However, the search stays as My Team


Why isn't my saved searches working?? If I can get this working I assume I can get rid of that pesky 0001 once and for all.

I also noticed  that the Search "Advanced" box (next to Go) doesn't do anything when clicking on it. Should it?

This issue is ONLY happening on the Worklist page. When I save searches for a Change Request, it works fine.

This is becoming a big issue for customers.

Any suggestions on how to resolve

Searches also not working on other pages too.

I'm searching on a "Change Cycle" and have a saved search. When I log off and back on and click on GO next to the search (top right hand corner), nothing happens and the search criteria doesn't appear. However, when I click on ADVANCED, the search DOES work on the Change Cycles page. Why is Advanced button working but Go button isn't???

I tried the Advanced button on the Worklist page but this didn't work.... 

Anyone with any suggestion?

I've raised an OSS incident with SAP as well but no replies yet.

Hi Shaun,

Just to let you know that this works for me !. So it might not be a bug that SAP Support would fix. I tried log off and log in and it works as expected.

Do you see your search saved in the top corner Saved Searches dropdown?. Also please note once you save your search, it will always be displayed in the top corner; if you click on Worklist, then it will reset the search options. However your saved search in Worklist screen will always be available on top corner. This is standard behavior in CRM UI. Saved Search is not designed to work with individual navigation bar profiles on left hand side; it works globally.

Yes, I have tried logging off and back on. And yes I can see my search in the box you mentioned.

The issue still occurs

As mentioned, when I remove the line (the one which has 0001) it doesn't come back again. It only comes back when I close the Web client ui and then log back in. Very frustrating for users as they have to remove this every time they login.

I've run out of ideas on how to fix this...

If so, how do I resolve?

Not sure what the screenshot is for?

As explained in my post, the search function is working perfectly fine...UNTIL I log off and then it appears twice, one of them having 0001 (not sure where 0001 is coming from?).

This is only happening in the Worklist.

I think this may be a SAP issue and will need a OSS incident raised.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hello,

Have you checked if this user has a parameter in SU3 that fills that 0001?

It might have been intended for another similarly named field...

There is no parameter in SU3 that.

Only parameter we have in SolMan is CRM_UI_PROFILE = ZSOLMANPRO


This is also happening for all users
