Material Exclusion take care of Material Determination ?

I have a material for which material determination condition record is present. Now the same material is present in the exclusion list for the particular customer.

When the order is created, will it allow that material to be order ? In other words, Exclusion has higher priority than Determination?

Material Determination is executed first.

Then List/Exclusion will be called.

In other words, List/Exclusion checks the final material number, into which the entered material has been converted by Material Determiantion.

This is correct because we use List/Exclusion function mostly because some of the mateirals can't be sold to some customers. (Or only some of the materials can be sold to them.) So, the final material, in other words, to be delivered material is the important one.

Something good to know:

In material determination master data, you can enter a non-exist material number as the "entered material".

While in Lsit/Exclusion master data, it is not allowed to enter a non-exist material number. It is a check for existing materials.

From this point also, we can know that List/Exclusion should not work before Material Determination.

Why don't you yourself test this in your system and update here so that the members will come to know how system is functioning.  SCN expects its members to put some efforts before posting here.
