DTR logon 403 Forbidden Error

Hi Guys,

I am using NWDS 7.31 SP 12. I am trying to logon to DTR through NWDI. I have created the client and when i am trying to login or Ping the DTR I am facing an error "403 Forbidden".
I can login through DTR url in browser. But unable to login in NWDI.

I have NWDI.DEV & NWDI.ADMIN roles. I have DTR_DEV role.

Please help on this.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your response.

Issue has been solved by ticking the Save Password option while importing DCs from SLD.

I got help from this link.

First thing is I cannot login to DTR in NWDS.

I am facing the error 403 forbidden.

I configured SLD. When I try to import DC from SLD without logging into DTR,  I am facing the following error.

Hi,

there are also UME roles called SAP_DI_ADMINISTRATOR and SAP_DI_CONFIGURATOR. Could you please check whether the user -- you are running into problems with -- has these rights?

Also it is possible that this has nothing to do with such rights.

As Jun also pointed out NWDS is retrieving data from SLD (liked your answer )

Please go to CMS webui (/devinf -- cms) and check on that page where your SLD points to.

Now this is the same URL that you have to enter to the System Landscape Directory setting in NWDS (in windows -- preferences of NWDS).

What was the URL you entered there?

Hi Madhu,

Please check the roles and please also go thorough the note 840523, though, it is for NW7.0 but it talks about setting up default (minimal required) users, groups and security roles for NWDI landscape.

Hope you are doing good.

Nice to hear from you again.

The issue is not clear. Do you mean login is not possible via NWDS (maybe a screenshot would be good). Also run the web diag tool as outlined in SAP Note No. 1227928:  Diagtool for troubleshooting NWDI (detailed logs) and reproduce the issue and the output should help.
