SMD installation on Cluster

Hi All,

I am installing SMD agent on cluster windows systems.

While installing by default the path is pointing to cluster drive but I need to install it in C drive and system is production system.

Not able to change as it is grayed out.

Is there any way to change the path

Hi Viswa,

The DAA instance default directory going to install in where you installed instance directoy.

for example:

Node 1:

E:\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS00  - DAA : E:\usr\sap\DAA  - E drive for non cluster drive local drive

Node 2:

E:\usr\sap\SID\D00   - DAA: E:\usr\sap\DAA

Hostagent only going to installin C: directory.

Which directory it took on gray?

DAA (SMDAgent) going to install Instance Directory only /usr/sap/DAA.

You can install the SMD agent on Windows Cluster physical nodes, then you can select the local disk either C or D

We are installing on physical host and I am not able to change it as it is grayed out.

You can log as local administrator user id (not on AD) and then try for the installation.
