How to check Approved GRC Access Requests

Hi Experts

I need to know how many access requests were approved in a month.

Is there a report I can Run or use Search Request? Or do i need to create a Query with different tables?

Urgent assistance would be appreciated.

Please Join below tables to get the complete report with Request Number, Request Type, Prov Items, Approval Status and Approver Details.

GRACREQ - Get Request Number

GRFNMWRTINST - Give ReqNo in EXTERNAL_KEY_DIS and get INSTANCE_ID

GRFNMWDATLG - Give Instance Id in this table to get details

To get Provisioning Item details use tables GRACREQPROVITEM and GRACREQPROVLOG

This does not show you the extact date that the Request was Approved on.

GRACREQPROVLOG table will have UPDATED_ON field which will give the date on which request is approved and provisioned.

Field UPDATED_ON shows the last time the Request was updated which was Provisioned.

I still cannot find when the Manager approved the Request.

For e.g. Request was created on 10th, Manager approved on the 12th and Security Approved on 15th and Roles were Provisioned on 15th. Then the table shows Updated on15th. I'm looking for when the Manager approved the Request, in this e.g. 12th.

Is there another table for this?

Hi Mustafa,

Then you need to check these tables:

GRFNMWRTINST - Give ReqNo in EXTERNAL_KEY_DIS and get INSTANCE_ID

GRFNMWDATLG - Give Instance Id in this table to get details. In this table based on Stage execution sequence column and LineItem status you can determine when it was approved/rejected.

Basically you need make use of all the tables join them, Vlookup etc as suggested and determine what you wanted to achieve as all data is not available directly in one table

Im aware that there is no single table that provides all the information

I have tried several tables in that ast as well by joining them.

From the one you have given GRFNMWDATLG might be the answer for me.

Only problem is that when I execute this table I get error "Table GRFNMWDATLG is not active in the Dictionary"

Can you help with this?

Hi Mustafa,

Go to SE11 from the Menu Utility --> Database Utility.

Click on Activate and Adjust Database with Save Radio Button.

If any issues check with your Basis team also ..

I have spoken to our Basis Team and unfortunately this table does not exist.

Get message "GRFNMWDATLG does not exist. Check name"

Even if we had to create it, it will be empty.

Apparently its not availabe on the version im on. I need to upgrade. Is this correct?

We on GRC 10. SP10.

Is there another table or another way?

why don't you just use the reports in Access Dashboards?!

there is one for Access provisioning that can tell you how many were provisioned for a specific interval.

Assuming that you're requests are only provisioned after approval, it should do the trick.

I can find the req no and role name with Approval status using these two tables GRACREQPROVITEM and GRACREQPROVLOG but how to find out who is the approver for that role in the request .

can we have any table to find the all these details.

Hi Mustafa,

Kindly refer to the dashboard report "Access Request" in the tab Reports and Analytics. This report displays the information in the form of bar chart.

we can get the data in dash board with over all information in the period. but we need the report in excel format  like request number with lline item details  (request number , role name , approver name and request rejection details. )

Search Request does not give you many were approved in a day or month.

It only shows Approved.
