We are performing an upgrade+migration to HDB using the DMO option(Oracle to HANA).
We are getting below error in the phase - PREP_CONFIGURATION/SUBMOD_MIG_CONFIG/HDB_CONFDMP
We got error as –

hi Sunil,
We copied the SAR files in the download directory and issue seems to be resolved for D:\tmp\sum12\SUM\abap\exe for 2 tools however issue remains the same for D:\tmp\sum12\SUM\abap\exe_2nd

hi,
I downloaded tools (SAR file) for both Oracle & Hana and placed in Download directory and issue got resolved for dbsl & R3load. For R3ldctl, it is looking for latest file however 742 patch 29 is latest in marketplace.

Hi Sury,
The error looks similar to the one you described.
On the SUM\abap\exe dir it is looking for a R3ldctl patch higher than patch 29 and also in the SUM\abap\exe_2nd its looking for a higher patch level than 29. In the marketplace the highest patch level for R3ldctl of kernel 742 is 29. I am not able to proceed ahead.
Please let me know how did you proceed.
Regards,
Raj
If you read the error log then you should be able to resolve the issue.
If the kernel type is 'sys' or 'cur', then the tool belongs to your active SAP
kernel, otherwise to the target release kernel.
*Kernel type 'exe' or 'mig':*
1) for SYS error - please replace the files in your current/running exe directory. I would not recommend you to replace the db libreries while system is running if the system is production.
2) for mig error - just place the .SAR files in your download folder (do not extract).
