RS 15.7.1 SP 203 installation

Hi all,

Yesterday in AIX 7.1 we installed first RS 15.7.1 GA version after that we installed RS 15.7.1 SP 203 and received error:

"Cannol load program repserver because of the following errors:

rtld: 0712-001 Symbol RCISetCnctrAttr__13BaseConnectorFiPvT1 was referenced from module repserver(), but a runtime definition of the symbol was not found ..."

We uninstalled the version and reverted to GA version. But we need to install the lastest SP. This error appeared since a repserver -v

The ldd result display missing files.OS people told us that they installed latest versions. We suspect that this is the problem.

Can anyone can give me a clue on this ?

Hi,

We installed now the RS 15.7.1 SP206. It is working now. We first dropped 15.7.1 GA and then install this new SP. Now we suspect that the problem was the upgrade process.

I do not find specific instructions on the steps to upgrade from 15.7.1 GA to 15.7.1 SP206. I guess that I need to start repserver with -upgr switch. If I need more steps, please let me know
