Installation Error Analysis 1.4

Hi all,

I am trying to instal the SAP BusinessObjects Analysis for Office version 1.4 and I got some errors.

The PC have Windows 7 64bit and Office 2013 32bits like image above.

I tried install the 32bits and 64bits versions of Analysis and I get the follow errors.

Somebody already had the same error before?

Hi all,.

I was trying install the Patch AAO1432SP10P_1-10011909.exe but it didn´t work and generated the problem above.

Now, I tried install the Patch AAO1432SP10_0-10011909.EXE and it works well.

Hi Vitor,

An office reinstall may help in this case.

And for help on the installation will be helpfull to attach on the thread the cab file as steps below:

- Press Start - Run

- Enter nwcheckworkstation

- Continue the appearing wizard

- Before clicking Finish make sure Checkbox "Collect diagnostic information for SAP Support" is checked

- Press Finish

- Attach the resulting SapCheckWksta*.cab file to this message.

Hi Diego,

We really do not would like to reinstall Office due to the large number of users who have this version of office.

I have attached the file as requested.

*rename the SapCheckWksta_20150226_1618.txt   to    SapCheckWksta_20150226_1618.cab

I believe that the file is corrupted.
Could you please attach the entire cab file?

*Remember rename the file to .cab

Hi Vitor,

Once you have the office package installed use the 32 bit.

The issue seems to be related with the Office installation that you have on your workstation.

You cannot have excel installed as stand alone but it must be on the office package and it is not recommended to install analysis for Office with more than one package version.

Hi Diego,

About the version 32bit or 64bit, I just tried install 64bit on Office 32bit for a test.

I try install Analysis 1.4 on 4 workstations with Office 2013. In all workstation we have installed the full package office. And error is the same.

In office 2010 we dont have problem.

Hi Vitor - what version of the SAP Gui are you using?  If you are using SAP Gui 740 would be possible to try this on a machine with SAP Gui 73x?

We are usign SAP Gui 730 version in all workstations.

Did you try clicking the link to the KBA patch shown in the last screen shot?

The link to the KBA patch is just for Office 2003. We are using Office 2013.
