Warehouse task creation

Hi Experts,

I am beginner in SAP EWM.I am trying to create one inbound process.

I have created inbound delivery and trying to create the ware house task.

In which I am not getting any error and can able to create the task successfully.

After I click on button create+save in the message I can see a warehouse order number is created.

But when I go for confirmation it is given a message that selection produced 0 result.

Also in the monitor also I cant see any ware house task or order.

Can any one guide me on how to resolve this issue.

Hi Experts,

With help of my ABAPer I  debug the standard code .While creating the WT  till the creation point it is fine all ok but at  last due to some validation missing it is rolling back.even ABAPers exactly not sure what is missing

If any one have any idea can you please help ?

Hi Sanujeet

If you are not able to see the WT or WOs that you already created, please check your default data for that transaction where you are looking for your document.

Default data should have your warehouse number.

Hope, this could resolve your issue.

Can you check once again with new document.

Before start and activate log for order and WT and when you create this document click on log button at top of document .

and put here.

Hi,

none of these entries refers to a warehouse order (please see attached screenshot). Now mine is successful, so the entry only shows the sub-object warehouse order. If no WO gets created, I would expect an exception log. You need to check the log activation entries.

this can be resolve by checking PPF action getting trigger with document type and del header.

go to customization check action for status and then find PPF action and get there details. you will find some condition to update.

that has to fix.

two differences you have shown above check is it same document type, and has same actions.

if different then make same and post new document .

This issue is due to NR for wh document.

Check assignments and creation of NR range

put 01 and 02 NR for both places for WO and WT/W-document.

and update if you have same issue.

and test for new document not for old one.

This is happening due to, you have WT Number range but no WH document NR.

WO is confirming GR and not finding NR to create wh document( GR and ROD to AFS doc).

Hi,

Your first screenshot says the PPF action for Print Unloading Instruction has failed. Initially this action has no printer defined. You can define printer dynamically.

In transaction SPPFCADM you can check for action inconsistencies, this may give you a more info. You can then e.g. deactivate the action, or check and correct your PPF conditions.

once IBD is reflected in EWM , click on POST GR . Once it is done then create new warehouse task.

I am following the same but  WT is getting green status and after I save the task I get a message that WO created but when I go for conformation I don't see the WO..

Hi,

I think you should then activate logging for the warehouse orders (at all the places where it has to be done). Guessing that something goes wrong with the WO creation in the end and nothing is saved.

transaction /SCWM/WOLOG

Hi,

first you have to activate logging for the objects WHOEXCLOG and WHOLOG in the transaction /SCWM/ACTLOG. Then you have to go through the transaction /SCWM/WOLOG and activate logging for WOs, for the activity area and the warehouse order creation rule (and in case you are not sure which one should be used, for all).

Hi Juergen,

I have followed the same step as advice by you .Then went to create the ware house task for IBD

but no luck same issue and in the log also it is mentioned as below

Ware house task 178 created

Ware order creation started

Ware house order created

But in system neither task or order exist.

Please advice  ..

That is no log , that is just the one you can see directly in the transaction and for that no activation is required. OK, this works for warehouse tasks. But the real log for warehouse orders you find in the SLG1.
