Hi Experts,
I have a third party DB.I want to achieve Smart Data Access to that DB?Is it possible? and also help me to understand what is SDA other than virtualization technique?
Best,
Rahul,
You may want to have a look into the SAP HANA documentation.
Currently SDA supports a range of third party DBMS, including Oracle, MS SQL Server, MaxDB and HADOOP.
Usually smart data access is considered to be a data-integration option. The only thing 'virtual' about it is tha the tables exposed in SAP HANA are called 'virtual tables'.

You're mixing stuff up here.
SDA is a SAP HANA feature which is independent of the system used on top.
Without SAP HANA there is no SDA.
However, you can integrate third party data sources into SAP BW - that's what it is made for (at least that's one of the things it has been made for).
But SDA is only available for SAP HANA systems.
