PI Adapters - XI Adapter Missing - Dual Stack Installation

Hi there experts.

I am having some trouble trying to configure a XI Receiver CChannel. When I try to select the XI Adapter from the Adapter's List, it just doesn't show.

Actually, there are other adapters missing, like WS adapter.

Here is my Adapter Metadata screen. It has a criteria "Adapter Runtime Type - Java Runtime". I can't remember any situation where I had this criteria, but it is there now and I can't remove it.

The SAP Basis package is imported and I can see the XI Adapter Metadata there.

I asked Basis for help but they didn't find anything why the XI Adapter isn't there.

Could you please help me?

Hi Flavio,

To check the adapter metadata, go to ESR -> SAP BASIS -> SAP BASIS 7.xx -> http://sap.com/xi/XI/System -> Adapter Metadata . It should give you a list of the adapter available.

Aside from that, you can use SOAP Adapter in XI protocol.
