Getting started to SAP Screen Personas

Hi SAP Experts,

in my company we want to test SAP Screen Personas and decide, whether it can improve our users work.

So far I read many guides and SAP notes in order to learn how to use and how to install it:

e.g.

We do not use the NWBC. Currently all users have SAP GUI for Windows 730 installed. For testing purposes I installed 740.

So I have some questions:

A few days ago I heard that Flavors can be used in Windows SAP GUI 740. Does this work with SP 2.0?

Does anyone use Screen Personas without NWBC? How does it work?

Personas 2.0 does not work in SAPgui. You'll need to wait for 3.0 for that.

I use Personas 2.0 without NWBC and the users simply access it via a web browser. They have the URL bookmarked.

Hi Christian,

You can use SAP Screen Personas either standalone (through the browser) or in conjunction with NWBC (or SAP Portal or Fiori Launchpad).

To render SAP Screen Personas personalization through the SAP GUI for Windows, you need SAP Screen Personas 3.0 and SAP GUI 7.40.
