Question on XI's future?

Hello guys,

What's the future of XI? Sources tell me that consultants are not getting many calls for XI. I am wondering if XI is going to accelarate in the future to compete with Oracle Fusion?

What's your opinion on this?

Hi,

Here is my view:

The current XI is becoming a maturing product. Many companies are now staffed with experienced XI developers, therefore, less need for consulting services. The usage of XI is increasing.

XI is not standing still, but continually being improved. In many case, performance improvements not apparent from the developer's perspective.

With eSOA, SAP NetWearver Exchange Infrastructure 7.10, will be a major component. In addition, there will be enhancements and new features from the development and runtime environments.
