I have been replicating my source database and i see that for one table the replicate datbase is having more records than the primary
what could be the reason
i have full db replication with db definition and subscriptions
please let me know the possible causes
thanks
This question is best asked in the SAP Replication Server SCN area....however, there could be many reasons for it:
1) Does the table in question have any "float" or "real" data types?
2) Have you identified the "extra records" and whether they exist in primary?
3) Are you attempting to use parallel DSI?
4) Are you attempting to replicate any stored procedures?
5) How did you materialize the replicate database - e.g. dump/load? If so, did you use a dump marker? ....or was this a DR Agent setup in which it was automated for you?

It was repliacting fine without any issue all these days and we built new server and did a dump and load onto that and resynced the data
the data is replicating fine now but for some dates it said additional rows in replicate than primary
did not use parallel dsi as it at one time caused data to be out of sync
used dump/load and used dump marker
the difference i guess it didnot delete the records in replicating will there be any chance that way that records are not deleted on replicate(i mean any parameters i am missing which is not doing a delete on replicate)
