Looking for SAP SYSTEM > MASTER PASSWORD

Hi everyone:

I´ve just download SAP Netweaver Abap trial. In the second step "DEFINE PARAMETERS", the system is aking for a "SAP System>Master Password".

What´s this and where can I find it?.

During the SAP installation you have to provide the master password. just type the password two times and then press next

Master Password --- What's this 

During installations we used to supply master password to access the system accounts as generated by SAPInst,as in previous installations we used to give standard passwords for SAP* as well as to DDIC .(A security breach).

To overcome the issue SAP used master password concept during the installations,under which we can define our desired password & can reset further.Hope you're getting me & same will be helpful for you.

Hi,

You could provide by your own choice e.g admin123 or somthing else & continue the installation process.Specified password will be used by accounts which are created by SAPInst.
