Where to see activities, which are created for the campaign with target group

Hi

I have created a Communication Method in SPRO -> CRM -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning & Campaign Management -> Campaign Executtion - Define Communication Method : Activity has been configured

Activities are not appearing after creation of campaign with target group.

Where to see activities, which are created for the campaign with target group?

Hi Hamid

The easiest way to see if the activities are created is  to check table CRMD_ORDERADM_H for the Transaction Type you've assigned to the Campaign.

If there are no new entries then you may still be missing some configuration.

Let me know if you need anymore assistance on this one.

If the activities were created they will be visible against the Business Partner that the campaign was sent to in the Business Transactions / Activities assignment block.

Hello,

alternatively to check  table CRMD_ORDERADM_H directly you can use the related transactions search for the campaign:

This should bring all activities generated by the campaign. If this is empty first check the job log of the campaign execution job again:

This gives information if any target group members have business transactions created. If the log does not contain the required information you can debug from SM37. The business transactions (activities, leads, sales orders) are generated from function module CRM_MKTTGGRP_PROC_CREATE.

Hi

I have checked Activities as suggested above, Activities are not got created.

I have set the debugger in FM CRM_MKTTGGRP_PROC_CREATE, debugg is not trigger during campaign creation.

As I said earlier i have configured required transaction type at 'SPRO -> CRM -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning & Campaign MANAGEMENT -> Campaign Executtion - Define Communication Method'.

Any idea still why Activities are not getting created.

I am using custom Transaction Type which is a copy of TASK(BUS2000125).

I'd have to check some documents, but I'm not 100% sure a Task is supported.

Have you tried using a Business Activity?

When you run the Campaign you're definitely using the Communication Method which you've assigned the transaction Type?

Sorry.

The reason I asked is that the Campaign Activity Process is pretty bullet proof, once the Config is in place it usually works first time. (Some times it works too well )

Your Transaction Type is not Blocked?

Hello,

to generate tasks BUS2000125 should work as well.

However, did you start the campaign execution and is the job executed properly? The campaign is never executed in foreground but generate a background job in SM37 - please check the job log accordingly. Is there any useful information available?

Transaction Type is active only. I have checked the Job Log. I see below message.

Incorrect parameter transfer (COM_PARTNER_ADDRESS_DETERMINE).

Please check your BP has an Address Assigned to them.

What communication method are you using?

BPs has address. I am using 'Generate Contact (Visit)' as communication method.

Looks like they had a similar issue with this Communication Method.

So I take it you don't  want to send the customer an Email?
